When I look back on 2025, I keep landing on two different feelings.
I feel like I did some of this yesterday
I feel like I did some of this ten years ago
That usually means the year was full. Busy in a good way. A lot of work. A lot of progress. A lot of meetings. A lot of learning.
Throughout the year, our team at IMS Technology Group supported schools, agencies, and organizations in ways that helped them operate more efficiently during tight budget cycles. Much of that impact came from steady, practical work that happens behind the scenes but affects thousands of people.
A major part of our year involved large-scale document scanning. We scanned tens of millions of documents for partners across the United States, helping them reduce storage demands, move away from paper bottlenecks, and modernize how they access records.
We also spent significant time improving digital accessibility for an underserved community. Through Accessibility on Demandâ„¢, we provided PDF remediation services and PDF accessibility services that helped organizations make countless documents usable for people with disabilities. This work ensured more readers could reach important public information without barriers. And, with this service alone, we saved government agencies millions of dollars they were ready to spend doing this work themselves.
Another theme throughout 2025 was understaffing. Many teams faced limited bandwidth, which made it difficult to take on new projects or process improvements. We worked closely with large national organizations with locations across the US to implement document management workflows that saved time and money, reduced manual work, and removed stress from already stretched teams.
And while shredding is a smaller part of our business, it made a measurable environmental difference. Our shredding division recycled over a million pounds of paper in 2025, a number that still feels unreal when you say it out loud.
All of this work reflects the steady effort of our growing team and the trust we receive from partners across the country. Nothing we do is flashy. But when document scanning, document management, or accessibility projects are done well and done right, they make a real, lasting difference for organizations of any size.
We have higher goals for 2026, and I feel great about the direction we are headed.
Thank you to everyone who was part of this year with us. From all of us at IMS Technology Group, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
